Chapter 531 – No Rest
Chapter 531 – No Rest
From the information Leyvi gathered through soul search, this Holy Son of the Alchemy Dominator Sect was currently away from his sect. He was in the South Region, specifically on a trip to Medicine Valley. He had been invited as a special judge for Medicine Valley's alchemy competition, an event that only happened once every two years.Medicine Valley was located in the northern part of the South Region, close to the border with the Central Region. While staying there, the Holy Son had gathered information about Anda. When he learned about the upcoming wedding between Leyvi and Caterina, he found the whole situation ridiculous.
Why? Because even someone with his high status could not make a cultivator of Caterina's caliber marry him, yet this nobody named Leyvi had somehow managed to do it. What qualifications did this country bumpkin even have? Did he rely solely on the Deed of Sovereignty he received by sheer luck?
The Holy Son was convinced that the Deed of Sovereignty had only been given to Leyvi because he was the husband of Alchemist Anda, who had displayed tremendous alchemy talent during the competition. In his eyes, it was her achievement, not Leyvi's. And now, Leyvi was using the Deed of Sovereignty as a symbol of power to trick City Lord Caterina Feline into marrying him.
Because of this, the Holy Son could not help but despise Leyvi, whom he saw as someone riding on nothing but stupid luck. He developed a deep hatred toward Leyvi without ever meeting him and swore to destroy him. So, he sent half of his Alchemic Knights to intercept the Leyan Family on their way to Holy Cat City. Their mission was to kidnap Anda and kill everyone else, especially Leyvi.
The Holy Son could not wait for this secret mission to be completed. To him, it was like killing three birds with one stone: eliminating the lucky country bumpkin he hated just to make himself feel better, gaining an incredibly talented slave alchemist, and possibly obtaining many valuable alchemy ancient relics from the Mystic Realm.
When Leyvi learned all of this through the soul searches, he could not help but feel dumbfounded by how ridiculous the Holy Son was. The man's priority had somehow shifted from targeting Anda's alchemy talent to wanting to kill him first, all out of pure envy.
Leyvi could not understand why a person of the Holy Son's status would even be envious of him.
You are the Holy Son of the strongest alchemy sect in the continent. Very few people among the younger generation have a standing as high as yours, and yet you are still out here causing trouble. Why can't you just enjoy what you already have? Why do you have to be such a busybody and want to harm my family?
He knew that a person like the Holy Son would not stop after the first attempt failed. His pride and narcissism would not allow it. He would definitely try again, next time even more aggressively, using all the status and power he possessed.
So what should he do with someone like this?
Kill him. Kill him to end all future trouble.
It was not just the Holy Son. Leyvi would no longer tolerate anyone who tried to harm the Leyan Family. He would always follow his family motto, but if someone crossed the line first, he would retaliate with the clear intention of ending all future threats once and for all.
Ever since coming to this world, Lapin had been sending out his celestial clouds all over the continent. Since the Cloud Continent was only a tiny fraction in size compared to the Titanis Continent of his home world, the celestial clouds had quickly spread throughout the land.
Leyvi could now monitor almost any region he wanted. Of course, this was still limited to the Cloud Continent for the time being, as it was difficult for the celestial clouds to cross the treacherous ocean.
Using the nearest celestial cloud to track the Holy Son, Leyvi decided he would wait until the man left Medicine Valley and act while he was on his way back to the Alchemy Dominator Sect. Since the Holy Son had acted secretly when trying to kidnap Anda, no one would know anything once he and his Alchemic Knights disappeared.
...
The journey to the Holy Cat City continued. The tense atmosphere among the Leyan Family gradually loosened once Leyvi returned to his usual wide smile and goofy personality. More importantly, the clear change in his aura convinced them when he told everyone not to worry and to leave the matter to him. He wanted them to continue enjoying their family trip.
Aside from attending his wedding, this journey was also meant to be a family trip, and Leyvi intended to make it a regular tradition for the Leyan Family. He planned that at least once every decade, the entire family would go somewhere together and enjoy quality time. Because of that, he did not want the issue with the Holy Son to ruin their mood.
Later that night, after some intimate sessions, Leyvi and Anda were discussing the matter again alone in Leyvi's room.
"I knew Medicine Valley was not a good place, especially since they produce those Slavemaker Pills," Anda said, her tone clearly annoyed.
"But I didn't expect them to have any relationship with the Alchemy Dominator Sect. I wonder if this so-called strongest alchemy sect is also corrupt. Medicine Valley already has that cockroach villain, and now another villain shows up. I wouldn't be surprised if those two get along very well. You know what they say. Villains of the same evil mind flock together."
Leyvi blinked and thought for a moment. Is that the correct saying?
"Hmm… that's hard to say," Leyvi replied. "From the memories I saw, I don't remember seeing that Ori guy at all. It seems like they have never met."
"No? That's shocking," Anda said. "I thought a villain like him would try to latch onto a bigger villain. Looks like I was wrong."
"That's what I thought too," Leyvi said. "But maybe he doesn't see himself as inferior to the Holy Son, so he doesn't bother trying to make a connection. He is overly proud of himself, after all."
"Hmph, that's probably true," Anda said. "It made me remember his stinky stench and how he kept hating on me throughout the competition. So annoying. Hopefully he makes friends with that Holy Son and gets recruited or something. Once they go back to the Alchemy Dominator Sect together, we can eliminate both of them at the same time. Two villains vanquished together. Happy ending for everyone. Hooray!"
Anda cheered at the end with exaggerated enthusiasm.
"Haha. Maybe he will live up to his title again as the cockroach villain," Leyvi chuckled.
"Hmph. Tell Senior Lapin to track this guy too," Anda continued. "There's no way he's staying in Medicine Valley forever. We should take care of him too if we get the chance."
"Yes, Madam!" Leyvi saluted playfully. "Your subordinate will obey! I will command the cockroach extermination squad to eliminate him!"
Anda smiled sweetly at him. "I would like to continue more with you tonight, but I must make sure you are properly prepared for your first night battle with City Lord Caterina after the wedding. I promised her that you would definitely be able to match her voracious sexual prowess and satisfy her properly for the first time. If you fail, I have to leave the Leyan Family and serve her as an alchemist for a hundred years. That's not good. We can't let that happen."
Leyvi rolled his eyes. "Why did you even make that bet in the first place? You didn't even consult with me first. Now I have to work hard to satisfy her for no reason."
Anda pouted and pinched Leyvi's nipple, though he did not feel any pain from it. "How can you say that? How was I supposed to know that we would get so lucky in the Mystic Realm? Back then, we didn't have what we have now. I was just doing what I could for the family."
Leyvi raised an eyebrow, pretending to look at his panda wife with suspicion. "Anda, I wouldn't be angry if you just admitted that you recruited her because you wanted a powerful reinforcement for your night battle squad."
Anda could not hold back her smile. "What's wrong with that? What's wrong with doing it for both reasons? Winning against you is important too!"
Leyvi sighed. He knew that this side of her would never change.
"Alright, how am I supposed to prepare?" Leyvi asked.
"We have to make sure that you can go on for as long as possible," Anda replied with a mischievous smile. She got off the bed and walked toward the door.
She opened it and brought Fifi into the room. It was clear that Fifi had already been waiting right outside.
"Fifi, until we reach Holy Cat City, help your husband train," Anda instructed, her eyes shining with excitement. "Make use of your stamina talent to the fullest. Ride him without allowing him to rest!"
