Chapter 476: Arrival in Hong Kong

Zhang Lei locked the door and went straight into his personal space. As soon as the women saw him return, they surrounded him, asking what had happened.

Zhang Lei looked at everyone and smiled reassuringly, "Don't worry, I'm already in Guangzhou. I just sent Number 001 to Hong Kong to scout things out for us, and now we're getting ready to go to Hong Kong."

Upon hearing this, everyone chimed in with their own words of advice, each one expressing their concern for him.

Zhang Batian laughed and said, "Our combat robots can reach speeds of 200 kilometers per hour."

He then looked at Zhang Batian: "So how did you get to Hong Kong?"

Zhang Batian said frankly, "I swam there. Don't worry, I'm waterproof."

Seeing Zhang Lei staring at him, Zhang Batian asked, "Master, is there anything else?"

Upon hearing this form of address, Zhang Lei quickly waved his hand, "Don't call me master, it sounds awkward. Just call me boss."

Zhang Batian immediately changed his tune: "Boss, let's continue."

Zhang Lei looked at him speechlessly: "I can walk, but you have to get me a car. My legs aren't like yours."

Zhang Batian pointed to a car that appeared out of nowhere parked by the roadside and said, "It's all arranged for you."

Zhang Lei got into the car, full of suspicion. After checking the vehicle's condition, he asked, "You didn't just steal it, did you?"

Zhang Batian nodded calmly.

Zhang Lei was startled: "Holy crap, this is a crime!"

Zhang Batian laughed and said, "Boss, this is a temporary measure. We're going to Hong Kong and won't be back for a long time, so no one will know it was us."

Looking at Zhang Batian's seemingly innocent smile, which concealed a cunning nature, Zhang Lei realized that Zhang Batian didn't seem like a cold, robotic person at all.

He thought for a moment and nodded, "Never mind, it doesn't matter."

Soon, the two arrived at the agreed location, and Zhang Lei immediately spotted a disguised fishing boat.

He followed Zhang Batian onto the ship, and as soon as he boarded, he saw a man in a police uniform. Zhang Lei was startled, but the man immediately bowed and greeted him, "Greetings, Master."

Zhang Lei looked at him and asked, "What's your number?"

The robot immediately replied, "Master, I am combat robot number 175, and my current name is Zhang Feng."

Zhang Lei nodded, then asked, "Zhang Feng, how did you end up becoming a policeman?"

Zhang Feng began, "All our robots on duty are managed by the commercial robot numbered 007. All combat robots are now dispersed throughout Hong Kong."

Zhang Lei nodded after hearing this.

Before long, the three arrived in Hong Kong by boat.

As soon as he stepped ashore, Zhang Lei saw a row of black cars waiting nearby. Then, he saw the commercial robot 007.

007 bowed to Zhang Lei and said, "Master, please get in the car. I'll explain our current arrangements in Hong Kong to you on the way."

Zhang Lei nodded, feeling a little unaccustomed to the way this big shot was making his entrance.

Zhang Lei watched as Robot 007 earnestly explained Hong Kong's economy, politics, and community affairs, his head spinning with increasing intensity. He quickly raised his hand to interrupt, "007, have you even given yourself a name?"

007 replied respectfully, "Yes, boss. My name is Zhang Zhiqiang."

Zhang Lei nodded: "Okay, from now on I'll call you Zhang Zhiqiang, you can just call me boss."

Zhang Zhiqiang immediately responded, "Boss."

Zhang Lei looked at him: "Where do we go now?"

"Boss, let's go to Repulse Bay. A detached villa has been prepared for you there."

Zhang Lei was somewhat surprised: "Oh? Why are you arranged there?"

Zhang Zhiqiang explained, "Repulse Bay has a great environment and high privacy. It's like a backyard for Hong Kong's wealthy. You can step out onto a private beach and the sea. It's a perfect place for wives to live with their children. We also own properties in Deep Water Bay and Victoria Peak. If you don't like living there, you can always move to another place."

Zhang Lei waved his hand: "Okay, let's go to Repulse Bay first."

As the car drove along, Zhang Lei gazed at the bustling Hong Kong street scene outside the window, when he suddenly spotted a group of people fighting on the street. He pointed out the window, and Zhang Zhiqiang immediately explained, "Boss, these are Hong Kong thugs fighting over territory."

Zhang Lei immediately became interested. He had only ever seen the "Young and Dangerous" movies before, never expecting to encounter a real-life version. He asked with a smile, "Fighting like this, nobody's going to stop them?"

"There are people in charge, but the police usually only come after they've finished beating them."

Zhang Lei understood; Hong Kong was indeed chaotic at that time. Zhang Zhiqiang quickly added, "Boss, don't worry, we live in a top-tier affluent area, inhabited by business and political elites. They are highly educated and such a thing won't happen."

Zhang Batian immediately resumed his normal sitting posture.
