31 The Prank Battle of the Alchemy Students (Part 2)
31 The Prank Battle of the Alchemy Students (Part 2)
It was truly unbelievable. Looking at Joyce's smug expression, Annie suspected that he wasn't complaining about the level of magic, but rather that the water and earth magic wasn't dazzling enough.
Look at all those sparkly magical artifacts he's wearing, and the way he throws magic scrolls around with such gusto—he probably chose alchemy just to make himself look more dazzling…
The competition was in full swing. Since the alchemy students were not good at combat, their numbers dwindled. Finally, Annie changed her strategy, leading the alchemy students to take a shortcut to the center where the flag was planted.
Thanks to the map, and of course, with little Abag scouting ahead, Annie successfully led some of her classmates to the core area.
Two groups are already fighting here. The alchemy students should take cover and observe the situation. Their target is not the flag.
Ten flags were planted in the center: five bright red flags representing the Order of the Red Rose, four pure white flags representing the Order of the White Rose, and one bright purple flag representing the Order of the Purple Rose. The students of the Alchemy Department looked at the flags, their eyes sparkling with excitement, but without greed.
They were able to reach the center thanks to Anne's guidance; to successfully carry the flag back to the starting point, even the gods would have considered it impossible!
The alchemy students' thinking was simple: as long as they could teach those who looked down on alchemy a lesson, that would be enough.
Annie originally wanted to use this competition to hone her skills, but after joining the Alchemy Department's collective prank plan, she had no choice but to take on the role of the team's strategist and healer...
The two sides in the battle were Tiren and several students from the Nissa Academy.
The students from Nisa Academy possessed formidable martial arts skills, so their fighting style relied on overwhelming force with brute straight and horizontal slashes. This style was not agile, but it was thunderous and deadly, with a single, decisive blow, making it extremely intimidating.
Tyren truly deserves to be called an absolute genius student at Kane Academy. Like Annie, he is a genius in all subjects. The difference is that his talent in all subjects is very high, unlike hers, which is discounted.
Tiren didn't use any flanking tactics; instead, he fought head-on. As a mage, he was unharmed as long as the enemy didn't get close. So Tiren kept casting spells continuously, and after several rounds, he showed no signs of fatigue.
Seeing that Tyren from her school was not in any danger, Anne thought for a moment and decided to leave Joyce here to lead everyone while she went back to meet the other alchemy students.
The students who remained behind were thrilled to see their school's students display such prowess, and gradually forgot their own predicament. One student couldn't help but cheer, "Tiren is awesome!"
The others were alarmed, fearing that the two sides would turn on them, but to their surprise, neither side paid them any attention and continued their own battle.
In fact, both sides had already spotted them, but they were too busy fighting each other to spare any attention. In reality, they had been keeping an eye on the situation, so neither side launched a full-scale attack, fearing a surprise attack from the rear.
Joyce and his group's exposure didn't elicit any reaction from Tyren, but the Nisa students panicked. It turned out these were the enemy's accomplices.
Taking advantage of the Nissa students' panic, Tyren launched a fierce attack, throwing several powerful spells at them. The Nissa students hurriedly dodged, but Tyren did not let up, continuing his relentless assault. The Nissa students could not withstand the onslaught and finally had to remove the medal from their arms to admit defeat.
The students of Nisa were not weak. Fearing being attacked from both sides, they allowed Tiren to seize the opportunity to launch a surprise attack. Resentful, the Nisa students left the place.
Although they didn't actually fight for Tiren, the alchemy students indirectly helped him, and they were all proud of Tiren's victory.
Suddenly, "Are you coming at me all at once or one at a time?"
The cold tone came from the handsome Tyren, addressed to the students of the Alchemy Department.
The alchemy students were stunned; they had no desire to fight Tiren.
"Tyren, don't get me wrong, we go to the same school!" Joyce explained with a laugh.
"Oh, really?" Tiren threw a spell directly at everyone's feet, and the magic exploded beneath their feet, startling everyone.
"You're not planning to seize the flag?" Tiren's voice was full of disdain.
Indeed, the alchemy students hadn't expected to successfully steal the flag, but if they were going to cause trouble, they definitely had to grab it. They hadn't actually intended to steal it, but they were determined to get it anyway. Oh dear, they were all confused...
Just as the alchemy students were figuring out how to answer Tyren, Tyren launched an attack.
No matter which school they come from, anyone who blocks Tiren's path shall die!
The alchemy students were so frightened that they hurriedly activated their defenses, but even so, some students were still injured by a fireball.
“Hey, Tyren, you’ve gone too far! We’re from the same school!” Joyce shouted.
“Oh, really? Then I’ll give you a chance to surrender, either voluntarily or under duress,” Tyren replied coldly.
The alchemy student glared at him angrily, and Joyce, equally enraged, launched a magical attack as well.
Unfortunately, he lacked practice in magical attacks and combat skills, so Tiren didn't take him seriously at all and launched a wide-range wind blade spell. The alchemy students were blown about by the wind blades and didn't even have time to release their information bombs.
Joyce managed to fend off several wind blades with her magic, but it wasn't enough to help her classmates much. One wind blade grazed Joyce's face, startling her so much that she finally shouted, "Tirion, stop! We surrender!"
After a round of wind blades ended, Tiren stopped, looked at the injured students scattered on the ground, and raised the corners of his mouth in disdain.
"Since you've surrendered, get out of the way."
Joyce glared at him angrily as she went to help her classmates up.
Compared to the situation here, the alchemy students who did not enter the core were not much better off. Their actions were discovered by Eddie's magicians, who played a cruel trick on them before removing their medals and ending the competition.
When Annie arrived, the alchemy students were moved to tears, weeping and giving her everything they had on them, urging her to fight hard, bring honor to the alchemy department, and avenge them.
Especially Jane.
"Annie, you have to beat Eddie's guys. If you win, I'll buy you all your potions from now on."
Reluctantly, Anne, amidst everyone's anticipation, went to find Joyce and the others with the items.
When Annie returned, history repeated itself. Joyce and the others were moved to tears, weeping and giving her everything they had. They urged her to fight hard, bring honor to the Alchemy Department, and avenge them.
"Go Annie!"
"Long live Anne!"
"Annie, the future Alchemy Department!"
"Annie, for honor!"
The alchemy students shouted in unison, their eyes brimming with tears and anticipation as they watched Annie depart...
Anne was helpless once again...
Abag led the way, and Anne followed Tyren's footsteps. Anne thought she would never catch up, but unexpectedly she encountered Tyren herself.
It turned out that Tyren had encountered Eddie's student and it took him some time to deal with him, and that's when Annie appeared at this critical moment.
Now, Anne and Tyrone are facing off.
"Take off your medal if you don't want to get hurt," Tiren said coldly and arrogantly, the frequent battles leaving him somewhat exhausted.
Tirion's tone made Anne uncomfortable, but she still didn't want to clash with the students of her own school and was about to say a few words of explanation.
Noticing the alchemical artifacts in Annie's hand, Tyren sneered, "So you're just trash from the Alchemy Department."
Anne frowned. She really hadn't intended to take the flag; she was just there to seek justice for her classmates. She didn't care about winning or losing, and Joyce and the others didn't really expect her to win either.
However, Tyren's attitude was very unpleasant, and she finally understood why Joyce and the others were so insistent on her avenging them.
Anne was angry, and even Abag raised his little paw at Tyren on Anne's head.
Actually, Joyce and the others only hoped that she would cause some trouble for Tyren and save face. But now, Anne is really looking forward to beating up Tyren. Otherwise, she can't vent her anger.
Hmph, let me show you how the Alchemy Department's trash fights!
Enraged, Annie used wind magic to gain the upper hand and began throwing various magic scrolls and potions at Tiren. Abag also went around to the rear to harass Tiren with his little claws.
Tyren never expected that Annie, an alchemy girl, would dare to launch a surprise attack on him, catching him completely off guard. Tyren retaliated in a fit of rage, only to find that although the spell scrolls and potions she threw seemed to be thrown haphazardly, there were actually no gaps in her attacks, making it impossible for him to fight back!
Tyren dodged the attack and tried to throw magic at Annie, but unfortunately, Annie now had almost all the defensive equipment of an alchemy school. These messy items, whose names she herself couldn't even name, protected her in layers upon layers of defense. Anyway, Joyce threw her his spatial ring full of magic cores and crystals.
This was the first time Anne had learned the extent of Joyce's corruption...
Annie dodged most of Tyren's magical attacks, and the ones she didn't dodge were completely neutralized by alchemical items.
Since it wasn't her stuff anyway, Annie threw scrolls and potions around with great enthusiasm, while Tyren dodged them in a sorry state. A potion exploded next to him; it was thrown by Abagh with a small stone.
The potion spread, and Tyren quickly dodged it, his anger rising.
Over the years, he has rarely, rarely, rarely suffered defeat. He is an eternal victor, and he wins with arrogance. Hmph, the girl in front of him has actually made him look somewhat embarrassed. This is completely unforgivable!
Tyren knew that if he hadn't been fighting alone against Nissa and Eddie's students, exhausting his magic and becoming physically fatigued, he wouldn't be in this state. But even so, he couldn't accept it!
He was determined to win this time!
"Hmph, don't force me to use my trump card." Tyren's eyes flashed with a violent and fierce light as he looked around at the deserted surroundings.
A trump card? Does Tiren need some other magic? Or is he a dual practitioner of magic and martial arts?
As Anne pondered, her hands never stopped moving.
Finally, Tiren's eyes changed completely, the air around him began to solidify, and mutations erupted—this was his trump card!
What exactly is this?
