Chapter 242 Heading Towards the Stars (The End)
Nadutong North China Regional Headquarters
Lu Lin arrived at the company entrance early today to pick someone up, accompanied by several members of the special operations team.
After Lu Lin decided to officially join Lu Jin in reviving the San Yi Sect, he informed his teammates that he would be leaving the team soon.
Following Lu Jin's introduction and Zhao Fangxu's approval, his replacement will officially arrive at Na Du Tong today to take over Lu Lin's work.
A car pulled up at the gate, and a pink-haired girl got out.
"Big Cousin!" Lu Linglong greeted Lu Lin warmly.
The person who got out of the car was Lu Lin's cousin, and also Lu Lin's great-granddaughter, Lu Linglong.
Zhang Chulan had met Lu Linglong once before during the Luo Tian Grand Ceremony. Although they didn't exchange many words, his memory of Lu Linglong was exceptionally vivid.
Because Lu Linglong was the one who encouraged him to walk his bird during the global live broadcast when he was drunk!
When Lu Linglong saw Zhang Chulan's forced smile, she recalled the scene from that day.
"Haha, Zhang Chulan, long time no see." Lu Linglong laughed awkwardly a few times, then quickly changed the subject, saying, "I heard you're already a squad leader in the Special Operations Team! I'll be your team member from now on! I'll have to take good care of you."
Looking at the silly-looking Lu Linglong in front of him, Zhang Chulan sighed and extended his hand to welcome her.
"Welcome, Ms. Lu, to the North China Special Operations Team."
……
Today is a momentous day; people all over the world who have the means have turned on the same live stream.
The reason they are so united is because today marks the first time in Earth's history that an exploration team has been formed to pilot a spaceship to the headquarters of the Cosmic Alliance!
After several days of selection and training, all members of the exploration team have been officially confirmed.
The total number of people who landed on the spacecraft was fifty, of whom forty were Chinese, half of the remaining ten were representatives from countries with good relations with China, such as Pakistan, and the others were pro-China individuals selected from Western countries.
Although many countries have attempted to protest the fact that the majority of the participants are Chinese, it has been to no avail, as the Chinese government has completely ignored them.
Inside the venue, all those about to board the spaceship stood neatly together, receiving greetings and well wishes from the top leader.
After the grand ceremony, everyone perked up, because it was finally time to board the ship.
Through cameras, people around the world watched as all the crew members entered the spacecraft one by one.
After the last person entered the spaceship, the hatch was officially closed on the captain's order.
As the countdown to takeoff ended, the spaceship slowly rose into the air before everyone's eyes!
Inside the spaceship, Ersha excitedly looked down at the increasingly distant ground through the observation glass until they arrived in outer space.
As an advisor, he was in the cockpit of the spaceship. He watched as the captain gave the pilot the command to jump into space, and the entire spaceship disappeared into the universe in an instant.
Meanwhile, Qin Le, who was hiding somewhere on Earth, was also observing the entire situation of the spaceship through a backup device placed on the spaceship.
Even though he had become nearly invincible through the system's abilities, he still harbored a slight apprehension towards the Cosmic Alliance. He was unsure whether any civilization in the universe could crack his system.
This spaceship journey will determine all his future plans; now all he has to do is wait for the spaceship's data to be transmitted back.
At the base in the Himalayas, a fluctuation in the air caused a hard drive containing recorded data to appear on the platform in the center of the base. This was the triggering of the mechanism hidden on the spaceship!
It successfully recorded the information from the Cosmic Alliance and returned it to Earth!
Hidden in the distance, Qin Le controlled the puppet in the base to pick up the hard drive. As data entered his mind, Qin Le's furrowed brows finally relaxed.
"Hahaha! System, you really are awesome! Even the Cosmic Alliance can't stop your power!"
"It's time to invade the entire universe! Every planet can become my hunting ground!"
All the Earthlings who were registering with the headquarters staff at the Cosmic Alliance headquarters watched as the screen playing the video on the wall suddenly went black.
As that familiar voice rang out, they stared in disbelief at the voice that appeared on the screen, a voice they had heard countless times before.
Friends, do you really think...?
"Holy crap! An anonymous guest!"

[The End]
P.S.: Let me write a few words of reflection.
First of all, I would like to thank the people who have read this far. I am well aware that the book is actually falling apart towards the end. I don't even want to read what I have written.
I originally planned to write until the end of this month, get another perfect attendance bonus, and also write the beginning of my new book. But writing for the past two weeks has been too grueling, and I don't even know what to write anymore.
I've been wasting too much time on this book every day, which has prevented me from even starting the new one. I've decided to finish it ahead of schedule.
The reason I'm writing this far is because I heard that the Pomodoro Technique increases the readership after 500,000 words, so I forced myself to write until I reached 500,000 words.
To be honest, this book took longer to write than I expected. The beginning of this book was created from an idea that came to me casually before going to bed.
I was watching a video of a person when I suddenly wondered what would happen if ordinary people in that person also knew about the existence of superhumans? And that's how this book came about.
The first book had many parts that weren't well-designed from the beginning, which made it difficult to know how to proceed in many later parts.
This book is a variant of the "viewing the film" genre. Readers who have read "viewing the film" novels should know that they are only readable in the early stages, and become tedious and long in the later stages.
I didn't think that much about it at first, because I didn't expect to write this much either.
I discovered this problem when I wrote about the exposure of the rust; that part of the plot became tedious and long-winded, with absolutely no interesting points.
However, since the daily earnings were still decent at the time, I was reluctant to end it, so I continued writing.
If I were to force myself to finish this book, I feel like I could still earn enough for two more months of perfect attendance bonuses. But that would be such a waste of readers' time; it would feel like I was just wasting time. After thinking about it, I decided to end it here and spend more time writing something new.
I have a preliminary idea for my next book, which will also be a novel that leans towards behind-the-scenes stories. I personally prefer the behind-the-scenes genre.
There will be some similarities in the setting to this book. Hopefully, the new book can avoid some of the problems that the book encountered later on.
That's all for now, Ghana!!!
