Chapter 339 The Terrifying Amazon

"Monster...monster! It really is a monster!" The burly man who was kneeling and begging for mercy saw this surreal and terrifying scene, let out a shrill scream that was so distorted it was almost unrecognizable, rolled his eyes, and he completely fainted.

The steel pipe in Brother Long's hand clattered to the ground. The color drained from his face instantly, his lips trembled, and his teeth chattered uncontrollably. Extreme fear gripped his heart, almost suffocating him.

The man who arrived was none other than "Captain Zhao"—Zhao Dezhu—the deputy captain of a nearby police station, whom Brother Long had mentioned. He had received Brother Long's call for help, assuming it was just a common street brawl, and planned to come over, smooth things over, scare the other party, and get Brother Long out of there.

However, when he rushed into the alley and saw the scene before him, the words he was about to say got stuck in his throat!

Two of his men lay on the ground, foaming at the mouth and unconscious. A burly man was lying unconscious in a pool of urine, while Brother Long sat slumped on the ground as if he had lost his soul, staring blankly ahead.

Zhao Dezhu's gaze froze instantly when he followed Brother Long's line of sight!

Lin Yue had already crossed the dimensional barrier and returned home, as if she had only gone out for a walk. She changed out of her school uniform, poured herself a glass of water, walked to the window, and looked at the flashing neon lights on the street below.
